About: Infamous for its crowded and dirty beach but famous for its night-life. If you enjoy night-time activities more, give this place a visit at least once in your life-time in this part of the continent.
Temples:
Sanctuary of Truth: Tour guide is included in the entry fee. This is not the type of temple for prayers etc but basically a tourist attraction. The unique thing about this temple is that it is entirely made of wood which is not chemically treated..so some parts of the temple is always rotting away while some other parts are being constructed.

Sanctuary of Truth

Wat Phra Khao Yai (“Big Buddha Hill”) Beautiful place especially during the late afternoon when the crowd is minimal. The view of Pattaya from the top is great.

Amusement parks and gardens:

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden: Beautiful themed gardens showcasing Thai culture. There are cultural shows, elephant shows and tigers too (although many tourists hate to see the way the animals are treated there).

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not: A franchisee of the USA Ripley’s museum, it’s a family oriented walk through mind blowing trivia and fun facts from all over the world.

Art In Paradise: again a family oriented fun activity where you can pose with many 3D images to create the illusion of you being the part of the picture.

Other attractions:

Pattaya viewpoint: if you’re part of a guided tour, this place will not attract you. But at dusk, when the tour buses have left with tourists, the view of Pattaya amongst the peace and quiet is amazing.

Coral Island cerulean blue sea and a long stretch of pristine beach void of high-rise buildings and away from the claws of civilization.

Coral Island

Sriracha Tiger Zoo: day tour from Pattaya. Once again you get to spend a day with tigers.
